Sponsored by the American Italian Cultural Roundtable, Soprano Rachel Hippert and Tenor Jose Heredia will perform classic works by Puccini and Verdi, accompanied by pianist David Maiullo.
Soprano Rachel Hippert and Tenor Jose Heredia are partnering with La Bella Italia cultural organization: A 501(c)(3) organization in Howard Beach, New York that promotes the culture and heritage of Italian-Americans, to present a concert of Operatic Arias and Neapolitan songs at 6802 Metropolitan Avenue, Middle Village, NY.
Regina Opera Presents: “I Pagliacci” by Ruggiero Leoncavallo. Soprano Rachel Hippert will be reprising the role of the ill-fated “Nedda/Colombina” in this new production staged by Sabrina Palladino and conducted by Maestro Scott Jackson Wiley. Performances are March 1, 2, 8, & 9, 2025, with FREE open dress rehearsal with piano, February 22 at 3 PM, and FREE open dress rehearsal with orchestra, February 28 at 7 PM at OLPH Catholic Academy of Brooklyn, 5902 6th Avenue, Brooklyn. Soprano Rachel Hippert and Tenor Jose Heredia will present a concert of operatic arias and scenes as part of Clark University’s 5th annual “Women in Horror Month” programming. This concert will feature scintillating highlights from some of opera’s most chillingly beautiful works, including Verdi’s Macbeth, Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoore, Leoncavallo’s Pagliacci and more. In this Concert / Public reading version of Puccini’s Grand Opera, Rachel Hippert will make her role debut as the titular character “Floria Tosca,” alongside her husband, tenor Jose Heredia as the Painter / Revolutionary “Mario Cavaradossi.” This event is free, although donations are encouraged.
